Embroidery
Embroidery is the handicraft of decorating fabric or other materials with needle and thread or yarn. Items that benefit most from this process are caps, hats, coats, blankets, dress shirts, denim, and golf shirts. We use the latest embroidery machines, using the finest rayon or polyester threads available in a plethora of colors.
The Embroidery Process
All designs that are to be embroidered first need to be digitized. Essentially this means that someone needs to redraw the design stitch by stitch so that the embroidery machine knows how and where to put each stitch. The first time digitizing there will be a fee for a standard left chest or cap front logo. But remember, you only pay this the first time. The digitized logo is then loaded in to the embroidery machine and colors are assigned to each needle. A sample sew out is done on a piece of sample fabric for customer approval. Each garment is then hooped individually and loaded onto the machine. The design is then embroidered onto the garment. Our machines are capable of sewing over 1,000 stitches per minute! The average design is around 9,000 stitches and takes about 10 minutes to completely sew out.
What Can I Embroider?
One of the most popular things that you can create with a commercial embroidery machine is custom apparel. This could include everything from t-shirts and hats to jackets and pants. You can add your team’s logo, a special design, or even someone’s name to just about any piece of clothing.
There are nearly limitless options for custom apparel that you can create with a commercial embroidery machine. For instance, you could embroider a company logo on shirts for employees to wear as part of their uniform.
You could also personalize shirts with embroidered names or initials. Or, you could design and stitch unique patterns onto hats, bags, or other accessories. The possibilities are endless! With a commercial embroidery machine, the only limit is your imagination.
